Elsah, ILL. -- Principia Men's Soccer defeats Augustana College 4 to 1 to close out their non-conference schedule.
The Panthers got on the board in the 5
th minute with a great goal from freshman
Cole Heinbaugh who slotted the ball past the keeper.
Kaleb Keller then got on the board in the 42
nd minute and scored what would be the game winning goal with a shot to the back post. Augustana showed some determination not to be beaten from the whistle in the second half and scored a goal within the first two minutes. However, Principia continued to rally and tried to find holes in the Augustana defense.
Jack Rogers, a sophomore transfer, broke through and scored a goal in the 64
th minute off a low driven cross from Keller. Keller sealed the win in the 78
