St.louis, MO. - Principia women's soccer team dropped an away game, 0-9, against the Webster University Gorloks.
Considering that the Panthers had to pull many of their starters during the first half, the bench rose to the challenge and played well against a high-ranked SLIAC team. The team had lots of flexibility in position changing throughout the game as well. Coming out in the second half, the Panthers were much more robust and played hard the rest of the game. The defensive line was strong tonight despite the score. Allie Bane, Kiona Sperr, and Kaija Ufert never let down, and they cleared many goals.
"These kinds of games are always tough in the moment, but it's the one that you learn the most from" commented coach Meagan Fleming.
