Elsah, IL – After some strong swims in the morning, the Principia College men's swim team set themselves up for a strong night with lots of opportunities to improve and score points. While the team finds itself down 60 – 191 at the halfway point of the meet, they swam and competed well. With "bests" in almost every swim, the men continued to show improvements. They swam to 6 lifetime bests and had 3 event wins.

Tyler Williams, Thomas Raucshenberger were joined by senior Elizabeth Hull and swam a 1:46.37. Both Williams and Hull swam to lifetime best splits – 25.60 and 31.63 respectively. Rauschenberger swam a season best 23.87 for his split.
Wainwright was back in the water after a short break for the finals of the 200 IM. With a strong season-best 2:14.54 swim, he won the event. Williams continued the winning with his win in the 200 Breast with a lifetime best 2:55.45. Then Raucshenberger added the team's third win when he won the 100 Free in a lifetime best 52.39. The men wrapped up the night in the 400 Medley relay where they were joined by fellow junior Sanaya Balduaf. Wainwright led off with a 1:05.34 100 Back. Williams then swam a lifetime best 1:21.44 100 Breast relay split. Raucshenberger then split a 59.07 season-best butterfly split and Baldauf anchored with a 1:03.69 lifetime best 100 free relay split. It was a strong finish to a long, strong day of swimming.
