PEORIA, IL – The Principia cross country teams had a great day in Peoria on Friday at the Bradley Pink Classic. The race field was made up of teams from NCAA Division III all the way up to Division I. The Panthers took advantage of the opportunity to compete in a fast field on a fast course.
There were several standout performances on the day.
Rex Heath and
Zach Proctor both ran season-best races to lead the Principia men, finishing in 90th and 94th out of 171 runners.
Kennett Rampley (27:53),
Dominic Baiocchi (28:22),
Collins Odienge (29:15),
Luke Berberich (32:03), and
Sarah Fakorede each ran lifetime best races by over a minute.
Holland Thomas also ran a personal best with a time of 28:51.
Nina Martinez was the first woman to cross the line for Principia, running close to her personal best in the 6K.
Joy Onyechi ran a strong race for the women, improving on her time from the home Twilight meet 10 days earlier.
