ELSAH, IL – At the conclusion of the UMAC Women's Tennis season, the conference handed out their 2023-24 season awards, and seven members of the Panthers took home honors!
Bissola Lassissi won UMAC South Player of the Year as the top player in the division for the second year in a row. She went an undefeated 4-0 in conference play at the #1 position and finished the season with 9 singles wins. Freshman
Mafe Quintero was voted the division's top first-year collegiate player after finishing the season with 12 singles wins at the #2 and #3 positions (5-0 in conference). All six players in Principia's starting lineup all earned All-Conference, while coach
Shannon Carney was voted UMAC South Coach of the Year for the second straight season after leading the Panthers to the UMAC Championship. Congrats to all of Principia's winners!
