Saray Hernandez Cisneros, who was named UMAC South Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of February 24-March 2!
This is the Principia women's tennis team's first player of the week award of the season. Cisneros won her first two matches of the season at #1 singles and #1 doubles in an exhibition match this past Saturday against SWIC. After she and
Kimbeley Peterson earned a hard-fought 7-5 doubles victory, Cisneros powered her way to a decisive 6-4, 6-0 singles win. Peterson also won her singles match at #2 in a third set tiebreaker, but Principia lost the overall match 5-2.
The Panthers' next two competitions will be at at home on Saturday, March 8 vs Franklin College and Monday, March 10 vs Kaskaskia College.
