MYRTLE BEACH, SC – After overcoming many injuries since his last time on the national podium in 2019, Principia senior
Corey Carter has climbed the mountain once again.
Carter entered Division III outdoor nationals with the 18th seed in the 200 meter dash, but he didn't let the odds slow him down. In Thursday's 200m prelims, he won his heat by .02 seconds (21.18) to qualify for the finals. Then in the 200m finals on Saturday night, he finished in 6th place (21.33) to close out his incredible collegiate career with his fourth NCAA DIII All-American performance. He also earned USTFCCCA Second Team All-American in the 400 meter dash by finishing 13th (48.10) on Friday.
