Women's soccer captures another shutout

Carlinville, ILL. -- Principia continued its winning ways on the road with a 6-0 win against Blackburn College. Alicia Girbes-Pierce led the attack with three goals. Goals were also scored by Hanna Mehring, Leticia Dias - who scored her first collegiate goal, and Cristina Post. Mel Stein and Murilla King combined for the shutout. Dias was awarded the golden boot and Girbes-Pierce received the lunchbox award.

Principia is now 5-2 and will be playing against Washington University Thursday evening at 7:00 PM.
