La Mirada, CA --Hanne Andersen, Principia's #1 tennis player, has a double win against Biola in the Panthers 6-3 loss. The #1 duo, Hanne and partner
Kelly Adams made precise returns, setting up poaching opportunities. In singles, Hanne was down 0-3 in the first set and came back to win it 8-6 in the tie-breaker. In the second set she played forcing tennis and won many of her points at net.Â
Claire Horton, playing #4 singles, won her match in the third set tie breaker by the score 10 -7. Claire play steady tennis and was strong in the first set winning 6-3. In the second set Claire made seceral errors and lot the set 6-0. She recovered in the third to make it Principia third match win on the day.
The team has rest for a couple of days when they will travel to Palm Springs to watch the professional men and women play at Indian Wells. On friday at 2:00 pm the women return to the courts to play Cal Lutheran in Thousand Oaks.
