Principia College tested in 6-3 loss to Rose Hulman

ELSAH, ILL. --

Not rosy for Principia against Rose Hulman on a beautiful spring day in Elsah. Principia women's tennis team snagged 6-3.  Principia won at #1 doubles with Lena Carlson and Lily Richards playing the top spot today.  Both players were agressive, closing into the net and ending points with volleys or overheads. Gracie Buchanan and Nathalie DeLoach did not fare as well at #2 doubles today losing 8-4.

In singles sans our regular #1 and #2, who were sitting out today, Principia women played tough 3 set matches at #2 singles, Lena Carlson, and #4 singles, Nathalie DeLoach.  Complete match results are listed below.

Next week the Principia women's tennis team has three away matches.  They play at home on Saturday, April 4th against conference rival Greenville College.  Mark your calendars for this April 4th match, which is senior day for women's tennis.  We will be honoring senior Kelly Adams.
