Principia women's tennis stumble against Hardin Simmons

Claremont, CA--
Principia women's tennis team face tough competition on the third day of their spring break trip to California.  Principia takes first doubles 9-7 but does not win another match.  Hanne Andersen, #1 singles, lost the first set and came back to with the second set forcing a tie breaker for the third set, which she lost. Grace Buchanan played #2 singles today but lost in straight sets.  Caitlin Carney, #5 singles, played well but had some diffuculty with her consistency.
 
All of the Principia players are showing improvemet in thier fundamentals but they are still needing to work on consistency and placement. The scores from today's matches are listed below. The women's next tennis match is Tuesday against Biola.
