St. Louis, MO. -- Principia volleyball pulled out a tight four set match tonight against Fontbonne with tenacious defense and stellar offense from Emily Tippets,
Sophia Hathaway and
Noelle Shoemake. Fontbonne was swinging hard with only 9% error, blocked 8 Panther attacks, and served up six aces, but the Panthers outlasted the Griffins to get the win.

Inside the Box Score:
- Both teams swung at 192 balls, but Principia killed 31% while Fontbonne killed 20%.
- Principia out dug the Griffins 129 to 98.
- Mia Gill and Cha Cha Fisher led the defense with 40 and 23 digs respectively.
- Emily Tippetts led the offense with 22 kills and only 2 errors out of 52 swings hitting .385.
