Lincoln, ILL. -- The Women's Basketball team traveled to Lincoln Christian University and got beat 34-83.  The Panthers lost in every category of the game except in free throw shooting, where they shot 80%.  Lincoln Christian shot 45% from the field while Principia shot 20%.  And from the 3 pt. line the Panthers shot 0 for 11 and Lincoln Christian shot 46%.  Turnovers continue to plague the Panthers as they had 31 for the game.  
 
Good to Know:
Nikki Matters was the high scorer for Principia with 16 points, and was 6 for 7 from the free throw line.  Nikki was also high rebounder with 8.  
Christina Redington played very well contributing 3 rebounds and was 2 for 2 from the free throw line. 
Sabrina Netherwood was 2 for 3 from the field.

"The team looks forward to playing Lincoln Christian again at the end of the season as the players know they can play better next time. While a disappointing loss, there were some bright spots including our strongest start of a game this season. The team's goal is to get better and plan to work hard to achieve this."
