ELSAH, IL-Â Â It was a hot, hot, hot game-opener for Principia as they hosted NAIA Harris Stowe on Saturday.
While the heat was a factor for all, it seemed to get the better of Principia during the middle of the first half. Before that, Madi Arens and
Sophie Hills found a way to dominate the middle of the field and Principia looked solid in the opening part of the match.
However, at halftime Principia found themselves down. While the score of the second half did not appear much better, Principia did well at forcing the ball to do the work.
Sarai Marcano was a bigger presence up top,
Tara Adhikari had a consistently solid game in the back.

They said it:
"This game gave us lots of insights into what we do well and what we need to work on. The team is grateful for the opportunity to continue to grow and learn." ~
