Elsah, IL—The women's team was a little off key in a 6-3 home loss to the Lady Blue.
A Look at the Match/Game-

Victoire de Visme pulled out the #3 doubles in an exciting tie-breaker at 8-8 which saw each team overcome four match points. The final score of the match tie-breaker was 14-12. The other two doubles teams did not find their rhythm in time and their matches were over quickly. At the start of singles play, the team was behind 2-1. #1 Singles,
Kelsie Huss, played an excellent match and worked hard as she fought off the steady play of her opponent and won in two decisive sets. Tie-breakers were played for several of the singles matches but Principia did not come out on top of those and lost the singles point at position 2,3,4,5,.
Emma Hanser, playing #6 singles had the most decisive match of the day in a 6-1,6-1 win. She defeated her opponent earning her a first win of the season.
Good to Know-
Emma Hanser, #6 singles and #3 doubles, brought home two wins on the day. Emma made some of her best shots in the doubles tiebreaker. Kelsie Huss, the panthers #1 singles played a great match and used her versatile game to lob and drop shot her opponent forcing errors. Kelsie also ran down every ball and kept sending them back into the court.
