Elsah, IL—Principia's women's team tuned up their game for the conference championships later this week with a 7-2 win over Lewis and Clark Community College.
A Look at the Match/Game- Principia swept the doubles matches with an 8-5 win at #1 doubles. The team was ahead 6-3 and let a few games slide before they came back to win the last two games. Kelsie was steady from the baseline and Caroline stepped across to poach and put away several volleys. Our #2 doubles team won without losing a game.

Hannah Switzer won both of their matches. Hannah did not give up a game in either match. Caroline took her match to three sets pulling out the second set 6-3 after dropping the first. She was not able to pull out the third set tie-breaker.
Emma Hanser had a flawless match she did not lose a game.
Good to Know- The team is tuning up for the Championships this Friday.
