ROCK ISLAND, IL – The Principa cross country team raced at Saukie Golf Course in the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational on Saturday. This was the pre-regional meet as it gives teams a chance to race at the site where the NCAA Midwest Regionals will be held.
Rex Heath was the first Principia runner across the line for the men in a time of 28:17, placing 42nd of 170 runners.
Zach Proctor was the second finisher for the men with a time of 29:14, and
Kennett Rampley followed behind as the Panthers third runner, finishing in 29:47. The men finished 9th of 11 teams with 255 points.
Nina Martinez was Principia's first runner in the women's 6K, finishing with a time of 29:59, while
Sarah Fakorede was the second runner for the Panthers, crossing the line in 33:40.
