Panthers Blow by Lewis and Clark

Elsah, IL – Men's Tennis swept Lewis and Clark 9-0 as they prepared for the upcoming SLIAC Tournament.

A look at the matches:

Juan Segovia and Drew Funke got the first point with a win at #2 doubles. Daniel Gomez and Wyatt Dale were down a break 4-3, but turned on the gas from there and only dropped one more game. Dale also played a close first set in singles but found his rhythm in the second. The wins came without much trouble all through the lineup today.

Good to know:

The Panthers honored Wyatt Dale for Senior Day. Wyatt has given so much to the team over the last four years through his on-court talent, leadership, and presence as a great teammate. We will miss Wyatt greatly and have no doubt he will continue to succeed after graduation.

Up next:

The Panthers open the SLIAC Tournament against Westminster on Saturday at 10:30 am. The winner advances to the championship that afternoon. The tournament will be played at King's Point Sports Club in Belleville, IL.
