St. Louis, Mo. – The Principia College Women's Volleyball team opened it's season with a tri-match at St. Louis Community College.
The Panthers played Southeast Illinois College from Harrisburg and the Archers of STLCC. The matches proved to be an opportunity for all 14 team members to see the court and get some playing experience. This year's team has a range of experience and are all learning how to work with each other as the program resumes after a year off for Covid.
Coach
Rich Eisenauer commented, "the team showed a competitive spirit and flashes of good play, but lost both matches in 3 sets. Serving is a strong skill set for the team, and that was highlighted with 13 service aces for the matches."
Up Next: The Panthers take the court again for their first home match this Wednesday at 5:00p. Hope to see lots of fans there.
