Box Score 2 Eureka, IL - Principia Volleyball traveled to Eureka to play a tri-match with the host Red Devils and the Spalding Golden Eagles. Against the Golden Eagles, the Panthers continued their improved play but could not take a set, losing in 3. Even with this result, Principia played with a level of enthusiasm and intensity that they had not shown in previous matches. This encouraging trend continued against Eureka in the second match.
Â
The hosts beat Principia again in 3 games but had to battle the Panthers for every point. However, improving defense and transition are making the team much more competitive.
Â
Coach Eisenauer said, "There was also a more extraordinary team spirit that would not allow them to give up. As a result, Principia had its best match so far in the number of kills, assists, and digs."
Â
Outside hitters
Alana Hinson and
Paige Fowler led a solid effort from middle hitter
Madi Leslie. Setters
Neha Bandrapalli and
