Fulton, MO. -- The Panthers traveled to Fulton, Missouri today to play in balmy 37 degree weather.
Â
Game 1:Â PC 0, WC 8
Â
Game 2:Â PC 3, WC 13
Â
Despite honest effort, errors on the field and a lack of consistent offense seem to be haunting the Panthers right now. Game one showed little offense with only two hits for the game.
Emily Hewitt and
Lauren Daugherty each had a single, but the Panthers were unable to score either run. With eight errors for the day, the Panthers quickly got themselves into trouble.
Â
After a quick break between games, the Principia offense seemed to re-charge and came out ready to attack. However, with only five hits for the game the Panthers were only able to push three runs across the plate. Errors on the field put the Panthers behind quickly, and the five hits were simply not enough.
Emily Hewitt had two singles for game two while
Alyssa Hudenburg,
Lauren Daugherty, and
Hannah Hathaway each had a double and an RBI.
