Elsah, IL – Principia College hosted Hendrix College for a dual meet. The Women's swim team swam very well in its loss to Hendrix University 73 – 107 on Friday night.
A Look at the Match
The meet was run with short events – 50s of the strokes, 100 IM, and 100 relays, so it was fun, fast and exciting. With another solid week of practice the women were ready for their second in-person meet of the season and they swam to numerous bests including a new team record. They are now challenged to come back on Saturday morning and swim well again.
Highlights and Lifetime/Season Bests

Lydia Pierce set a new school record in the 50 Breast. Her time of 33.51 not only won the event but she set a new school record by almost a second!

Olivia Burbee won the opening 100 Medley relay in 58.12.

Sanaya Baldauf led the way with a 2:16.16 for an in-season lifetime best time in the 200 free.

Elizabeth Hull finished in 2:57.54 for a lifetime best in the 200 free by more than 25 seconds!

Lydia Pierce earned the women their second win of the meet by going 26.47 to win the 50 Free. Her time was also an in-season lifetime best time.

Camille Abadie scored the team's third win of the meet with at 31.74 in the 50 Back.
